Data we process
- Account email address and authentication data
- Organization details submitted on account setup (business name, address, professional context)
- VAT identification number, where provided
- Professional verification evidence uploaded to confirm eligibility to purchase
Purposes and legal basis
- Account and order fulfillment — performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

VAT ID validation (VIES)
When a VAT identification number is provided, Akesia submits it to the European Commission’s VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) service to confirm it is valid. This is a direct lookup against the member state’s VAT registry; no profiling or automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect is performed as a result.

- Vercel— hosting for this website. Vercel is a US company; where personal data transits outside the EU, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.
- Supabase— database, authentication, and file storage, hosted in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) region.
